BIO

The Deep Blue are one of Manchester’s most exciting indie-folk acts, combining hypnotic four-part harmonies, infectious melodies and rebellious, socially conscious songwriting into a live show that genuinely connects with festival audiences. Since emerging in 2022, the four-piece have built an impressive reputation on the UK festival circuit, with appearances at Glastonbury (Avalon Stage), Y Not, Tramlines, Truck, Victorious, Greenbelt and Underneath the Stars, alongside three UK tours and nine sold-out headline shows, including London’s Camden Assembly and Manchester’s YES Pink Room.

With clear crossover appeal between indie, folk and alternative pop, The Deep Blue offer festivals a versatile act that works equally well on a main stage, folk stage or boutique/indie setting. Their sound sits comfortably alongside HAIM, boygenius, The Staves and The Mamas & The Papas, while their engaging live show brings strong harmonies, singalong moments and plenty of personality. They also bring serious industry momentum, having won the 2024 Cambridge Folk Festival Christian Raphael Prize, received BBC Radio 6 Music airplay and recently completed an 18-date UK & European support tour with The Waterboys

2027 will see their debut album released.
