With over 70 million streams globally, Manchester-based singer-songwriter Lusaint is one of the most exciting newcomers to hit the UK with her melodic blend of soul, jazz, blues and pop influences mixed with her distinctive tone and captivating melodies, Notion Magazine quotes Lusaint as an “overnight success” Lusaint only began releasing original music in early 2023 and already has garnered support from tastemakers such as Jack Saunders, Sian Eleri, Victoria Jane, Clara Amfo and Vicky Hawkesworth on BBC Radio 1 as well as BBC Introducing Manchester and publications such as Rolling Stone Magazine, Wonderland, Notion and F Word. Lusaint even captured the ears of Elton John who supported her single Sweet Tooth on his Rocket Hour Show on Apple 1. Lusaint’s music has been placed across 80 editorial playlists across Spotify, Apple, Deezer, Amazon, TIDAL and YouTube too. In 2019 Lusaint broke the record for achieving the most Shazam’d song in one day in the UK and a No. 1 in the UK Shazam Chart with her cover of En Vogue ‘Don’t Let Go’. Lusaint has also been achieving international success, in France her music has been hitting the Shazam Top 100 and Spotify Viral Charts following a debut TV performance on Taratata along with being playlisted on stations such as Radio Nova, RTL 2, Europe 2, Europe 1 and NRJ Pop to name a few. In Italy Lusaint’s track ‘Fool For You’ reached #31 in the Top 100 Shazam chart and #41 in the Italian National Radio Airplay chart. The songstress has also been working with high end fashion brands such as performing for Dior at Gleneagles in Scotland and being styled by Chanel for their exclusive Manchester fashion show in 2023. In mid 2024 Lusaint signed with One Fiinix Live and agents Jon Ollier and Bex Wedlake and since has been performing at major venues and festivals such as The Great Escape, Neighbourhood Festival, Cosmic Cape and supporting artists such as RAYE & Tom Grennen at Metronome Festival. In May 2024, Lusaint embarked on her headline tour around France, playing at 250-300 cap venues and selling out in Lille, Strasbourg, Paris, Nantes and Lyon. September 13th 2024 sees Lusaint release her debut 6 track EP ‘Self Sabotage’.
