Home Counties are an East London-based electronic indie band known for their sharp, dance-led sound and wry, satirical take on modern life. Their second album Humdrum, produced by Al Doyle of LCD Soundsystem and Hot Chip, saw them move decisively from guitar-driven roots into restless synths and propulsive, groove-heavy arrangements.
Following its release, the band toured extensively, including a sold-out headline show at Scala in London and their biggest run to date supporting Franz Ferdinand, which culminated in a sold-out Brixton Academy. They also made their debut at SXSW for their first US shows, further cementing their reputation as one of the UK’s most inventive emerging acts.
