Felix Raphael’s musical journey definitely began with simply making music. Whether it was his voice or various instruments. Everything wanted to be tried out. And that hasn’t changed to this day. Certainly not the most gifted musician in theory, it is his creativity and courage to simply do something off the beaten track that makes him
something special.
Producer, songwriter, lyricist, studio musician, live act. He combines all of these things. Sometimes more focus on one, sometimes more focus on the other. After initially hesitating to mix electronic sounds with his musical background, Felix finally found his unique musical signature in the synergy of electronic drums and synthesizer, an organic indie feel and his unremarkable voice.
His style is difficult to categorize, but it can best be described as deep and melodic house with a distinct blend of organic and classical elements, Felix would probably call it Indietronica. Melody and harmony are his top priorities, but he still loves the rhythm of electronic music, the 4/4 beat and the energy that can arise in a club or at a festival.
