One of Amazing Radio’s tips for 2025, the north Walian four-piece WRKHOUSE have capped off a strong debut year. Earning them a Triskel Award at the 2024 Welsh Music Prize, their long-awaited EP Out of the Blue delivers an uber-confident blend of bilingual songwriting, infectious hooks, expansive arrangements, and rich textures of their North Wales roots. With praise from CLASH, Radio 1’s Sian Eleri, BBC Radio Wales’s Molly Palmer, and BBC Introducing’s Jess Iszat, WRKHOUSE have gained a dedicated fanbase across the UK. Their atmospheric, groove-heavy alt-pop places them firmly among Wales’ newest generation of exciting emerging acts. Last autumn, WRKHOUSE brought their 2024 to an explosive conclusion with ‘Take,’ the final chapter of their Out of the Blue journey. Having recently gained the support of Help Musicians’ Next Level Award, as well as PRS Foundation’s PPL Momentum Accelerator Award, work is well underway on the band’s next string of releases.
