South Arcade

The antidote for all the industry plants of alt-pop, South Arcade are bringing real, poster wall worthy bands back to the forefront of the alternative/pop scene with their coming-of-age sound. With a sound that captivates and undeniable talent as both musicians and songwriters, South Arcade is poised to make a significant impact on the alternative/pop scene.

Taking influence from artists as wide as Radiohead, Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon and No Doubt. Lead singer Harmony Cavelle, exudes a youthful yet powerful voice and iconic style that channels the likes of Gwen Stefani and Avril Lavigne.

While social media has certainly played a part in South Arcade’s success, it’s only a small part of the story. This band was born out of a shared passion for music, with the four members first coming together while studying at college together just over 12 months ago. From there, they poured their hearts and souls into writing and recording tracks that quickly began to attract attention online. Their savvy use of Instagram reels and TikTok certainly helped to spread the word amassing over 230k followers in the last few months but it’s their undeniable talent and dedication that have truly propelled them forward and earned the band a reputation as one of the most exciting acts in the UK today.

The band’s genesis began in 2021 when they met at college and began writing tracks and achieving online success, the four piece now live together in Oxford. They have already received radio attention and support from BBC Radio 1 Gemma Bradley, Jack Saunders, Alyx Holcombe and Nels Hylton, BBC Oxford and BBC Oxford introducing. South Arcade have played an impressive array of support tours and festivals across the UK, sharing the stage with Yours Truly, LOZEAK, and Bronnie, amongst others. And in June 2023, they’ll head out on their own first headline run of shows which is sure to cement their position as a band to watch in the alternative/pop scene.
