Lazy Day is the brainchild of songwriter Tilly Scantlebury. Across a string of singles and EPs, the ascendant London quartet have gained support from Lauren Laverne at BBC 6Music, The Fader, Noisey and more, off the back of what VICE have called “inherently generous songwriting”, and what DIY have dubbed “more evidence of Tilly’s growing ambitions.”
Lazy Day’s much talked-about and impossibly fun live show has seen them share stages with SASAMI, Jay Som, Girlpool and Bloc Party and hit up festivals including Latitude, Community and Kendal Calling. Now, making their long-awaited return to the live stage with new music in tow, the message is clear: everyone is invited to the party, no one is left out. With funding support from PRS Foundation, watch out for new music very soon.
